AFAD Air Force Appreciation Days Air Force Appreciation Day, (AFAD) was started in 1961 by the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce as a means to thank all the local military for all they do for our country and our local communities. It has evolved into a 2 day event which is scheduled for the Friday and Saturday following Labor Day each year.

Come out and enjoy the largest Parade in Idaho followed by a variety of vendors, food and great music in the park! Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each or 6 for $5. Prizes include a Grand Prize and cash prizes.
