Description:

From 36th annual Art Under the Elms Website:

The 36th Annual Art Under the Elms (AUE) is an annual three-day outdoor artisan fair celebrating the arts in north central Idaho and invites artisans from around the country. The Fair is held annually on the beautiful campus of Lewis-Clark State College amongst the blooms of the many Dogwood trees in the historic Normal Hill neighborhood of Lewiston, Idaho.

AUE is the signature event of the month long Dogwood Festival of the Lewis-Clark Valley. The Dogwood Festival brings in over 50,000 visitors to the community throughout the month of April with AUE seeing an average attendance of 13,000 the last full weekend of April each year.
The arts are celebrated with a juried artisan green, a food court and live entertainment with two stages showcasing regional musicians and performance artists. Children are encouraged to create their own art in the Childrens Interactive Art Tent on the Artisan Green and have tea parties with woodland fairies in the Dogwood Fairy tent. Community non-profits are invited to participate with information tables that include carnival-style family games. It is truly a community-wide event. Over 200 volunteers from the campus and community join with staff from LCSC to make this event a success each year.
